The registry has been existing a long time, but have only been ”open”, i.e. registering foreign owned vessels, since May 2008.
Togo is IMO Member since 1983.
Only officers’ require endorsement and application procedure is not excessive. No original documents required. No legalisations, notarizations etc required.
No local Togo company or agent required for vessel registration.
No age limitation on vessel’s but “older” are accepted on a case by case basis.
The registration process is straight forward and not “complicated”.

We issue interim certificates and can assist you with most registry related matters.
We issue endorsement receipts that are valid for three months.
